Today’s weather played havoc with transportation. Numerous buses were late forcing the school to adjust today’s class schedule. Unlike other schools, students at Gakuin come from many places. This means that transport can affect everything. Adjusting the schedule from time to time is one Gakuin can accommodate unforeseen problems.
After classes began, Mr. Bagayamukwe (Claudien) talked about Alfajiri High School in the Democratic Republic of Congo (his alma-mater). There are many differences between schools there and here. However, just like my school in Canada, both Gakuin and Alfajiri are Jesuit schools that believe in ‘Men for Others’.
Can you see a young Claudien?
