There are many ways we can help other people. You can give your money, you can give your time. For high school students at Gakuin, money and time are both rare.
This week at Gakuin, however, there is a way that all students (over 16 years old) will be able to help, by giving blood. One student gave a speech explaining the importance and said that even though he's scared of needles, learning about blood transfers in his class had motivated him to give this time.
Donated blood can only be kept for a short time so there's always a need for more supply, however, due to COVID-19 less people are donating than ever. We hope our busy students will take the short time to help out.
