Friday is Clubday

Most junior high sports clubs and a variety of cultural clubs meet on Fridays. I went around the school to visit the activities of the soccer, tennis, baseball, calligraphy, art and debate* clubs.

*Debate is not an official club yet, it is a pre-club (準部), but the students are practicing hard for the Chugoku regional tournament that will be held in July.
