Gakuin Thespians

The 65K students have been continuing their plays in Japanese class this week. I went to watch two plays from the boys of 2-D.

The first was “The Struggle of the Grannies” (おばちゃんたちの奮闘) which had a very interesting story based on everyday life.

The second was a science fiction story called “Iceball Super” (アイスボール超) which had an interesting story about humans stranded on an ice planet who met a strange alien.

After the plays were finished, the other boys wrote and shared comments. I was impressed at how well the boys had memorized all their lines and their delivery was quite good, too. I think this experience will help build their public speaking skills as they take more leadership roles in the future.
