Rainy winter days

Winters in Japan are usually dry and cold, but today we had high humidity and rain with a temperature of 15℃. The plants loved it.

Saturdays are usually a day for after school clubs, but actually today many students were absent for even bigger club events- the high school basketball and volleyball clubs had official games today. The rain and absences resulted in a rather lonely front yard apart from the senior high school alpine club.

The school marathon is coming up soon, too. So the track and field and junior high alpine clubs were busy practicing running. Both clubs hope to obtain a good result next month.
