Start of Term 2

Today we had the opening ceremony for term 2.

Many students were busy with various activities and received various awards.

The Alpine Club got 8th place at the nationals in Hokkaido.

The Go club took part in the national tournament.

Students from the Shogi club reached the best 4 in the West Japan tournament.

There were also 8 awards for various science olympiads including Mr. I who got a bronze prize at the World Geography Olympiad in Indonesia and Mr. K who got a silver prize at the World Linguistics Olympiad in Bulgaria.

Congratulations to all the students who got awards. We hope our boys can settle back into the routine of term 2 easily after all the excitement of summer.
