Student Election Campaign Rally

Today the students of 62K and 63K gathered in the Arrupe Hall for the student council elections. This year was a first for Hiroshima Gakuin as the elections will be conducted online. We have taken many steps to ensure the safety of the election results and the integrity of our democracy.

Students could fill in their ballot by using a QR code.

With the first online elections a common theme was about the use of ICT at Gakuin. Many students were campaigning about iPad use and other digital programs that they hope to implement if they are elected.

A plan to increase the positive, education centered use of school-issued iPads.

A plan to invite guests to the school festival online (especially if COVID-19 continues as present)

We wish the best of luck too all the candidates and we hope that if they are elected they will be able to dutifully fulfill their campaign promises.
