中1 Mass

I went for a walk around the school during 6th period today to see how the junior high school boys were going.

The 中2C and 中2B boys had English and Japanese class as normal.

But when I went past the 中1 classrooms, I noticed something strange.

The classrooms were empty! Sometimes the boys aren’t in their classroom because they have P.E, art or music class. But all four classrooms were empty. The blackboard, however, had a hint.

The boys had gone to mass at the Memorial Cathedral of World Peace in Noboricho. Mass is an important part of the Catholic church. Not all our students are Christian, but experiencing mass helps them to understand the Catholic education philosophies guiding our school. We hope they had a good, spiritual experience.
