Tommy Piper wants to play

The past few days there has been heavy rain and finally today a warning was issued for Nishi-ku. Thankfully it came after school so there was no disruption to classes, but we hope all our students travel home carefully.

The “stream” by the school has become a river.

Due to the rain (and thunder) the swimming lessons scheduled for PE class this week were mostly cancelled. Hopefully the students can enjoy swimming next week instead.

Tomorrow is a no-class Saturday, but we hope everyone stays safe during the wet weather and that not too many events are cancelled. Tests are coming soon though, so with the bad weather the students should stay home and make productive use of their time.
