Welcome Back!
Today is Good Friday, a very special day for Christians. As a result all activities at Gakuin finished by lunchtime and students were dismissed.

The morning started with a School Assembly. The principal gave a speech welcoming the students, discussing “salt” and “light”. Then the head of Catholic education, Mr. T spoke about Easter.

There was also an award because Mr. I from 64k was chosen to represent Japan at the Geography Olympiad which will be held in Indonesia this summer.

After the School Assembly class photos were taken, inside this year because of the rain.

Then the students had their annual check-up.

Tomorrow is a class day, so it is a busy start to the year. We hope as life continues to return to an “alongside COVID-19” normalcy that students will be motivated to do their best in all aspects of school.
