中3 Trade/Commerce Game (+ 体育祭)

This week in Social Studies, we played a trade/commerce game that illustrated the variations in resources, skills and technological capabilities of different countries. Groups of varying sizes, representing populations, were given different amounts of paper and money (resources) as well as pencils, rulers, compasses and protractors (technology). Countries had to use or trade their resources in order to make products (paper circles, triangles, etc.) which they could sell at the “market.” The goal was to make as much money for your country through trade and production.

“This is no good!” “I cannot buy this from you”

Here are some Sports Day pictures from last week.
